Dazed is a Status Effects in Darkest Dungeon 2. Status Effects are now used as Tokens that are guaranteed effects upon use during combat. These are sorted as Buffs, Debuffs, Stealth, Unique and Special effects. Some effects come from Skills and Trinkets. Skills can now cause a variety of effects that are shown by tokens. To see what each token means, each token can be moused over and the list of tokens can be viewed at the token glossary. This can also be done during combat.

Dazed Information

Dazed is a debuff Status Effect newly found in Darkest Dungeon 2. In previous titles, this debuff was only found in the PvP mode Butcher's Circus where there was no Speed effect. Daze granted different effects where in the mode where players choose which hero to use during their turns, a hero afflicted with this status could not be chosen till the very end. This time, it is found in regular combat and can affect both enemies and allies, granting the opposite effect of Speed. The next turn, if afflicted by daze will then be forced to the end of the round, which may affect its effectiveness. In Darkest Dungeon 2 where combat is turn-based- this could give a great advantage to the team that uses it strategically. A skill intended to be used next could then be delayed in time to insert another action to combat, deflect or block the delayed action when used. Dazed is resisted with Stun Resistance.

Items that Apply Dazed

In Darkest Dungeon 2, there are certain items as well that can apply the Dazed status effect such as consuming combat items when you are in a battle, using Inn items at the Inn before embarking on a journey, or by equipping Trinkets.
