Encore is a Skill in Darkest Dungeon 2, it is a skill that is exclusive to the Jester class. Skills in Darkest Dungeon 2 are used in two ways, either to attack Enemies or to buff yourself or your allies with various effects. Skills are unlocked at the Shrine of Mastery, which also provides backstory for the hero. And to upgrade the skills, you will need to spend Mastery Points, which can be earned by completing Road Battles and Routes or main quests.

- Hero (Class): Jester
- Rank: The Jester hero is required to be ranked on team positions 3 or 4.
- Target: The skill of the Jester hero can target a single hero unit on any position rank.
- The Jester acquires the Dazed and Weak Negative Tokens, while the targeted hero unit gains an extra action on the current or next round.
Darkest Dungeon 2 Encore Skill Guide
This skill is another support skill that can be used on any hero unit, no matter what their rank is as long as the Jester is positioned on the team rank positions 3 or 4. Triggering this skill grants an extra action for the targeted hero unit but at the same time, the Jester acquires the Dazed and Weak Tokens. The Dazed Token delays his next turn, putting him at the last lineup before the round ends, while the Weak Token reduces his next attack by -50%. The Encore skill also has a cooldown of 3 rounds before it can be used again.
How to Unlock Encore in Darkest Dungeon 2
- Requires the hero to reflect on his past via the Shrine of Reflection to learn this skill. Obtained as a reward for clearing Chapter 5 of the Jester's Lore.
