To see what each token means, each token can be moused over and the list of tokens can be viewed at the token glossary. This can also be done during combat.
Guarded Information
- Type: Buff
- Effect: Protected by {o}
Guarded is a status effect in Darkest Dungeon 2. Guarded is a defensive strategy effect that deflects incoming damage to another hero. Guarded lasts for three turns. Using it again during these three turns will restart the stat. This effect only triggers when the guarded character is directly attacked. The guarded hero can still indirectly receive damage through other AoE (Area of Effect) attacks if they are within range.
This effect is best used on weak Heroes who have fewer HP or are at risk for death.
Some skills that confer the guarded condition on a hero also grant the skill user defensive buffs, such as Block, to reduce the deflected damage.

The current image is the guarded 75%, we need the guard 50% icon (which is empty inside). Not sure what the naming conventions are between them atm.
