Provisioner is an NPC in Darkest Dungeon 2. NPCs include Merchants, Assisantance Encounters, NPCs that assist in upgrades and assist with the Heroes' progress during their runs and in the general campaign. Heroes can interact with different NPCs and Merchants to purchase goods such as Trinkets, Inn Items, Stagecoach Upgrades and Combat Items or request for a service in exchange for Mastery Points, Relics and Baubles. Come across these NPCs at the inn or by choosing routes or Locations with NPCs. The rest of them can be randomly encountered throughout the journey.
Spend what you can, for wealth no longer has meaning - if indeed it ever did.

- The Provisioner will be seen mostly as Inn Merchants. They will be selling Heroes Inn Items, Combat Items and Trinkets to prepare them on their onward journey. Inn Items can only be consumed or used within the Inn. They can also be seen when opening your Travelogue and when selecting your next route. The Provisioner shows up as different people depending on the Inn you are visiting.
