How to Get Stale Bread in Darkest Dungeon 2

  • Profile Level Requirement to Unlock: Player Profile Level 3
  • All Inn Items are randomly rewarded for each successful expedition.
  • Stale Bread is a common reward from assistance encounters. It is also regularly available at the Inn.
  • To unlock more Inn Items across different runs, players will need to reach a certain Profile Level. Players may increase their Profile Level by earning Hope. Hope is given when a run ends, and is calculated by a series of factors including travel distance, battles won, removing items from the inventory, and several other factors such as area quests or defeating bosses.

Stale Bread Notes & Tips

  • Stale Bread is a general improvement over Slime Mold, and won't bother heroes with Fussy Eater. Players should try to feed all their players at the Inn before attempting the next area given that food is fairly common and/or cheap to buy at merchants.
