Stun is a Status Effects in Darkest Dungeon 2. Status Effects are now used as Tokens that are guaranteed effects upon use during combat. These are sorted as Buffs, Debuffs, Stealth, Unique and Special effects. Some effects come from Skills and Trinkets. Skills can now cause a variety of effects that are shown by tokens. To see what each token means, each token can be moused over and the list of tokens can be viewed at the token glossary. This can also be done during combat.

Stun is a status effect found in Darkest Dungeon 2. A stunned enemy or ally loses their next action. This lasts one turn. A stunned character will have the symbol indicated above their head to indicate they will not be taking turn for the current round. This effect is used when predicting a devastating blow.

In addition to this debuff effect, characters affected by stun receive an after effect where they are granted an additional resistance buff to stun. This prevents back to back stun effects from recurring throughout the rounds. If a stun is dealt with this resistance effect in place, an additional 50% resistance is stacked on top of the the existing resistance, bringing it to 100%. This grants a temporary 100% immunity from any attempted stun attacks.
