Double Tap is a Skill in Darkest Dungeon 2, it is a skill that is exclusive to the Highwayman class. Skills in Darkest Dungeon 2 are used in two ways, either to attack Enemies or to buff yourself or your allies with various effects. Skills are unlocked at the Shrine of Mastery, which also provides backstory for the hero. And to upgrade the skills, you will need to spend Mastery Points, which can be earned by completing Road Battles and Routes or main quests.

 

Darkest Dungeon 2 Double Tap Information

  • Hero (Class): Highwayman
  • Rank: The Double Tap skill can be used if the Highwayman hero is standing on team ranks 2 or 3.
  • Target: The skill can only target a single enemy unit standing on mid ranks 2 or 3.
  • Targeted enemy unit that has < 30% HP deals +30% more damage and ignores 10% of Death RES.

 

Darkest Dungeon 2 Double Tap Skill Guide

Considered to be a deadly attack that can either inflict large damage or to simply finish off an enemy. This attack ignores 10% of RES to death and can inflict up to 30% damage as long as the target's HP is < 30%. This skill requires the Highwayman to be positioned in Ranks 2 or 3 and can only target enemies that are in the mid ranks.

 

How to Unlock Double Tap in Darkest Dungeon 2

  • Requires the hero to reflect on his past via the Shrine of Reflection to learn this skill. Obtained as a reward for clearing Chapter 5 of the Highwayman's Lore.
