Blind is a Status Effects in Darkest Dungeon 2. Status Effects are now used as Tokens that are guaranteed effects upon use during combat. These are sorted as Buffs, Debuffs, Stealth, Unique and Special effects. Some effects come from Skills and Trinkets. Skills can now cause a variety of effects that are shown by tokens. To see what each token means, each token can be moused over and the list of tokens can be viewed at the token glossary. This can also be done during combat.

Blind Information

• Effect: 50% chance to miss next attack

Blind is a debuff status effect in Darkest Dungeon 2. It works oppositely to Dodge. Blind is an effect usually afflicted upon enemies so that they have a 50% chance to miss their next attack. If this effect is not available Block uses similar mechanics that can be casted on specific allies instead to gain a 50% chance of dodging the next incoming attack, making their odds almost the same. However if players can accurately predict the next enemy to take a turn, choosing Blind may be more advantageous, and players can consider if their dodge effect affects all allies or just one target ally. Players with the greater dodge effect, Dodge + may also consider that this has a 15% higher chance of dodging.  These effects can also be casted by Enemies unto Heroes, but having a debuff resistance will help counter the likelihood of this effect following through.
